Session Speakers
  • John Looper - Senior Program Manager, Autodesk - Subscriber Platform Group

John Looper started his career amidst the oilfields of Texas where he became a big fan of AutoCAD for his design and manufacturing work. He took his involvement to the next level, became known as the “AutoCAD Power-User” in the area and was an instructor at the local college. After moving to California, he continued in CAD-related design consulting roles before diving into the software development world. In the years since, he has worked in various software roles and in 2005, brought his career full circle and went to work at Autodesk. Here he continued his work as a QA and Development Manager with internal IT, product teams and engineering tools teams. Most recently, as a Senior Program Manager, he has partnered with product teams to deliver a more consistent install and licensing experience to Autodesk customers. This role allows John to draw from his experience over the years as a user of Autodesk software and more recently as a contributor to the development and delivery of it!
