Session Description

The role of BIM manager can mean many different things and include many different responsibilities, depending on your organization, its understanding of BIM (Building Information Modeling), and its level of expectations. In this roundtable discussion, we'll explore what that has meant in our collective experience, and how that has been defined and implemented within our respective organizations.   • Scott Fanello - Director, Building Information Modeling, Strang

    Scott Fanello is the Director of Building Information Modeling at Strang, Inc. Some of his responsibilities include: training, initial project setup, creating customized BIM project execution plans, developing company BIM standards and BIM coordination. Prior to joining Strang, he worked with Affiliated Engineers, Inc. for 20 years where he was instrumental in the company’s implementation of CAD and BIM on large-scale, complex projects involving coordination if extended multi-firm delivery teams. Scott has presented at multiple venues including RTC and Midwest University where he was rated one of the top 5 speakers.
